Treatment approaches include Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), Primal Reflex Release Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), myofascial release, joint mobilizations, and therapeutic exercise. We'll problem solve together to reach your movement goals.

Reiki/Energy work: This 30 minute session focuses on balancing a person's energetic self with their physical body. Using a combination of Reiki and intuitive energy work, we'll remove blocks, restore natural energy flow, and recalibrate your vibe to its ideal state. We can also work on any particular concerns that arise. Treatment is low-key and calming, promoting a general sense of well being.

Tracy Otruba graduated from Duquesne University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, followed by a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1999. After practicing in outpatient pediatrics and early intervention in the D.C. area for several years, she moved to south Louisiana and began working in outpatient orthopedics, treating adults and children with musculoskeletal issues. A move to Detroit found Tracy working closely with an orthopedic surgeon, treating people across the age spectrum for pre- and post-operative care, as well as non-surgical management of orthopedic issues. Her time in Cleveland has added wellness for athletes and treatment of sports-related issues to her knowledge base, resulting in the creation of Connected Physical Therapy and Wellness. Her interest in energy work and its effects on the physical body has further broadened her area of practice to include Reiki and energy work as a dedicated service.

Tracy has completed extensive continuing education in manual therapy techniques for the spine through the University of St. Augustine, myofascial work through Anatomy Trains, and shoulder treatment through Partridge Seminars. She has completed the highest level of training available in Primal Reflex Release Technique (PRRT) from Superspine, Inc, and she is certified in Level 1 Fascial Movement Taping through RockTape. She is a certified Weightlifting and Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting and a Certified Level 2 Advanced IASTM Practitioner (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) through HawkGrips . Her work at the Stretch to Win Institute resulted in certifications as a Level 3 Medical Certified Fascial Stretch Specialist and LifeStretch Instructor, along with work as a Teaching Assistant for Fascial Stretch Therapy courses. She is also a Level 3 Certified Reiki Master. Her favorite challenge is combining a variety of techniques into the right formula to help a client achieve wellness.
